Quit Smoking…How Much Do You Really Enjoy It.

I always ask my clients just how much they really enjoy smoking. And most haven’t even thought clearly about it.

For example a client tells me they smoke 20 per day, which is typical. I ask if they really enjoy all 20. Most will say they really like about 5 and the rest just fill in the breaks in the day or are just out of habit.

On average there are 10 puffs per smoke. I then ask if they enjoy the whole smoke and again most agree that the first 2 or 3 puffs are the best.

So I ask my clients if 10 -13 enjoyable puffs per day are worth the financial, societal and health costs. So far in over 2,000 sessions I have never had one person say it does.

Sometimes it’s worth thinking differently about a habit or problem, of which smoking is both. If you reflected on whether or not those few puffs per day are worth the future pain and you think it is , then keep going.

But if not then maybe it’s time to do something about it. It’s not whether you will become sick from smoking it’s just a matter of when and how badly it hits you, and those around you. I don’t say that to scare you, because if fear was enough then you would have already quit.

I say it to get you to think about it, I mean really think about it. Because if you do it just may spur you into taking action. And when you do then hypnosis is you best path to being a non-smoker. And as you go into hypnosis bit by bit you will let go of all your connections to cigarettes.

Even while a part of you may be skeptical, just going with the hypnotic process will ease you out of a lifetime of smoking and set you up as a non-smoker with strategies to handle all the situations you once believed were made better by smoking.

But as you will come to learn, smoking never makes anything better. It may distract you, it may feel like it helps, but all it can ever do is rob you of your life health and finances. And all it ever did was make you smell like an ashtray.

And now it makes you a social outcast, so perhaps you could consider those good puffs and question if any of them are worthwhile.
